Description
The AXION LRF XQ38 thermal imaging scope with a built-in laser rangefinder is the superior choice for hunting, forestry, security, search and rescue, outdoor recreation, and sports. It utilizes a new generation of 17 µm thermal imaging sensor featuring 384×288 resolution and sensitivity of <40 mK NETD, plus a built-in laser rangefinder and long-life quick-change battery (APS5).
Built-In Precision Laser Rangefinder
The integrated, precision laser rangefinder provides accurate rangefinding in two modes: Single Time Measurement and Scanning mode with ±1 m accuracy up to 1 km. Accurate distance readings help to quickly assess the size of the territory, distance, and relief.
Highly Sensitive Thermal Imaging sensor
The 384×288 (17 µm) thermal imaging sensor with NETD 40mK sensitivity ensures perfect detail recognition even in harsh weather conditions when thermal contrast is low. Even during rain, fog, or cold mornings, the smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible.
Detection Range Over 1300 Meters
The advanced sensor, combined with a powerful F38/1.2 objective lens, provides exceptional detection capabilities. A standard 1.8 m tall object can be detected up to 1350 m away in complete darkness.
Image Boost Technology
Pulsar’s proprietary Image Boost technology utilizes software algorithms to increase imaging clarity and overall image detail. Image Boost results in a sharper, more detailed field of view and enhanced object identification capabilities.
Instant Start-Up
Thanks to revolutionary electronics, the AXION LRF XQ38 can be powered up almost instantly. Quick start-up prolongs battery life and extends overall operation time. More importantly, the thermal scope is ready when seconds count.
IPX7 Waterproof Rated
The AXION LRF XQ38 is waterproof, rated at IPX7. It can withstand heavy rainfall, snow, or other precipitation. The unit is designed to run flawlessly, even after submersion in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
Lightweight and Rugged Magnesium Alloy Housing
The housing is made from light-weight magnesium alloy, ensuring high structural rigidity and physical ruggedness. The AXION LRF XQ38 is a great choice for long outdoor trips when a light yet capable unit is necessary!
Full-Color, HD AMOLED Display
The new HD AMOLED display with a 50 Hz frame rate provides a crisp, richly contrasted, and vividly colored field of view. This display ensures excellent image quality and flawless performance even in freezing temperatures.
8 Display Color Palettes
The 8-color palette enhances viewing in varying conditions. While the classic White Hot mode is exceptionally versatile, Hot Black is often favored for detecting wildlife at night. Red Monochrome helps to reduce or prevent a bright backlight from exiting the eyepiece. Sepia often improves long-range observation while Red Hot, Rainbow, and Ultramarine enhance temperature differences of various object attributes. Violet helps to identify objects faster.
The B-Pack mini APS5 battery system
The quick-change high capacity rechargeable Li-Ion battery offers 7 hours of operation time on a single charge. Fast and easy battery replacement in combination with instant start-up ensures continuous observation without disruptions. Quickly charge with the included charging station. An ordinary power bank connected via the USB Type-C socket can also be used to charge or serve as an external power source.
Variable Digital Zoom from 3.5x to 14x
Digital zoom, up to 14x, provides improved focus and better overall object recognition at significant distances. The zoom changes either gradually in 2x step or continuously for a truly optimum, customized field of view for a specific situation.
Observation Modes
Image optimization can be enhanced depending on the environmental location and conditions. Mountains, cities, and forests have different ambient temperatures, so certain settings have been optimized and gathered into profiles for those environments. Identification, another preset, makes identifying easier, even at longer distances.
Picture-in-Picture Function
Picture in Picture is a handy mode when zooming only a part of the image is necessary. Upon activation, it displays a second, small image in the top part of the screen. This inset image helps to zoom in on a target while retaining the rest of the field of view.
